Mesmerizing Vintage Sirjan Rug

A field arranged in a lattice of full and half diamonds, each enclosing a grid of twenty-five star motifs.

Small boteh sprigs move between the diamonds, adding a gentle sense of motion.

The weaving technique gives the rug a soft, supple handle.

Although it features symbolic motifs, the overall composition remains distinctly geometric.
