Imagine a walled Persian garden seen from above: 70 neat little plots, each sprouting its own cypress, wheat sheaf or boteh (paisley) in quiet conversation with the next. That’s the kheshti—“panel” or “garden‑box”‑—design you’re looking at here, rendered in an elegant duet of antique parchment and bitter‑cocoa brown. The pile has been sheared to a mellow, almost tapestry‑like flatness, so the cotton warps peek through like sun‑bleached paths between beds.
I love this format in rooms that already have a lot going on—think a library with floor‑to‑ceiling books, a kitchen with artisanal tile, or under a glass coffee table where every panel can be admired up close. It’s graphic, orderly and wonderfully easy to live with—just roll it out and let the garden grow underfoot.
