Hamadan carpet or Hamadan rug is a village or city rug woven in Hamadan Province in western Iran. These rugs feature symmetrical knots on a cotton foundation with a wool pile. These rugs have Afshan, Herati, and Fish designs, and the colours are Red, Blue, Navy Blue, Begie, Yellow, White, Orange, and Cream.
